Dana Hauser’s artistic journey began in the Midwest, where he first explored visual arts with dreams of working in creature effects. As the industry shifted toward digital media, Dana found his true calling in the world of tattooing. With 17 years of experience, he’s skilled in a variety of styles, but his specialty lies in surrealism, illustration, and tattoos that showcase creatures—real or imagined—and nature, including ocean life and skulls.
Outside of tattooing, Dana is also passionate about colored pencils, oil painting, and sculpture, with his artwork often featured in the shop.
His diverse experiences growing up in different places have shaped his well-rounded approach to tattooing, and he’s learned from some of the best, including Phill Carlucci, John Guzman, and Isaac Davis.
Dana approaches every custom design like a movie poster—focusing on strong characters, dynamic composition, and the right mood. When he’s not in the studio, you might find him enjoying martial arts, comic books, or diving into the wonders of science and history. And yes, he cries every time he watches Braveheart. His motto? “My daughter is always right.” Because she is.
To book your tattoo appointment, a nonrefundable deposit of $100 to $200 is required. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your tattoo.
